About Hugo Cortes

Hugo is a South Philadelphia based Photographer.

​

Growing up, Hugo had a deep passionate love for the arts that echoed throughout his childhood.  Later, he would graduate from the University of the Arts with concentration in Illustration.  After many years, vastly different occupations, he started searching for the connective tissue that ties everyone and everything together.​

Whether his subject be a protest, fashion model, birthday party or street light, he yearns to find universality in every moment.
